Joan, Elliot & Kira in Stratford
Katiman spent a couple of weeks, in August 2009, in Stratford basin, surrounded by tourists and holiday makers. Several times Joan had to ask tourists not to sit, uninvited, on the stern of Katiman, although she was pleased to assists with photographs of these ‘fascinating vessels’.
Having come down from Earlswood with Alex and Tony, Joan headed back with Julie.
In between, John, Elliot & Kira came to visit.

Weird Wasthills Tunnel
Wasthills Tunnel ventilation
On 8 May 2005, John, Todd and Cory helped take Katiman through Wasthills Tunnel, on the Birmingham-Worcester Canal. New-fangled with his digital camera, John took several photographs in the dark based on vague shapes and light they passed.
These show the amazing calcification built up over the years.
